The company was first registered in 1999 as a business enterprise (Wey laboratories inc). By 2008 the company became Wey laboratories and chemicals limited.

The company was the brainchild of a young graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the Prestigious University of Lagos. The Company and Brand name was coined from the letters of the name of the founder of the company. The company began Operations in a Surulere area of Lagos State and later moved to Magodo then Ojota all within Lagos State.

The company in the quest for growth as a real SME meeting NAFDAC regulation moved to Okearo in the suburb area Lagos – Ogun state boarder area. There the first set of NAFDAC licenses for 5 products were processed and received. The company products were introduced to and registered with the beauticians & cosmetologist association of LABCHA and NAHCO the two main beauticians and hair cosmetologist associations in Lagos. The company keeps advancing, innovating and reformulating to meet the yearning of its esteemed customers.

And by 2022, the company still pressing moved on to KEILAJO PLACE in Magboro area of Ogun.
